NSW Health advises that older people, and those with existing heart and lung conditions may be more sensitive to exposure to air pollution.
Air Quality Index
The Department of Planning Industry and Environment has an online Air Quality Index which shows air quality readings in Greater Sydney. The readings are updated hourly.
